Step-By-Step Construction
At
Legacy Quality Custom Homes we have laid out a step-by-step plan
that will take each customer from the first construction phase
to final inspection where they are given the keys to their new
home.
Please
remember that your family's safety is our number one concern
when in the vicinity of any construction site or development.
Please notify us if you are planning to visit your construction
site. We also request that you refrain from visiting the
site when there is active construction work ongoing.
Preconstruction
At the pre-construction meeting you will sit down for a review
of your home plans. Together, you will verify blueprints,
and find out what to expect during the building process.
When city and county permits are cleared, construction can
begin.
Foundation
The first step to building a quality home is digging and laying
the foundation. For the most important part of your new
home, we use only an experienced excavation team and brick
masons. Proper sized footers are dug and poured with
concrete to reassure stability of the home.
Framing & Drywall
Only quality lumber is used in the framing of your new home.
Prior to the insulation and the hanging of the drywall, a guided
tour is done allowing you to inspect the inner workings of your
home, view it quality components, verify option features you
have selected, and ask questions.
Legacy Inspection
Before your final walk-through, we conduct our own inspection to
ensure everything is in proper working order and to quality
standards. Any needed repairs or touch-ups and the home is
thoroughly cleaned in preparation for the Pre-Closing
Orientation.
Pre-Closing
Orientation
When your home is finished we will take you on a room-by-room
tour to demonstrate the quality features and operating
procedures for all aspects of your home, as well as explain our
service procedures.
